The Quaid_E_Azam
The Quaid_E_Azam
A person who is admired for his courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities is called a hero. A hero is a man of extraordinary personality with an admirable character, special needs, and creative ideas. Quaid _e_ Azam was among those who possessed such qualities.
It was the historic day of 25th December 1867 when Quaid_e_Azam was born in Karachi. He received his early education in a local school. Then he made his way to England and returned us a Barrister. On his return to India, he started a law practice in Bombay. Then he joined the India National Congress in 1906. He was an ardent supporter of Hindu_Muslim Unity. But the narrow vision of center communal leaders disappointed me.
Thus he joined the Muslim league In 1913. In 1916, Jinnah became the president of the Muslim League. He works hard for a separate homeland for the Muslims. The odds were against him. The Hindus, the British, and a section of the Muslims were against him. But he withstood every problem. On 23 March 1940, the famous Pakistan Resolution was passed under his leadership at Lahore. He stated that the Hindus and the Muslims were two completely different nations. So they should have separate land. He was an extremely courageous leader. When, on 5 August 1947, Mountbatten informed that the Hindus and Sikhs leader was planning to assassinate him, he remained indifferent and state drive would take place at any cost.
August 14, 1947, was the day of his triumph. Pakistan appeared on the map of the world.
Jinnah took both her offices as the first governor of Pakistan. However, his health had been breaking down under the heavy pressure of work. He died in harness in Karachi on September 11, 1948. Lord Patrick Lawrance, the former secretary of state of India, rightly said,
Gandhi died at the hand of an assassin; Jinnah died by his devotion to Pakistan.
